This pivotal role sits at the heart of the business, based at their head office in Melbourne’s outer Eastern suburbs, Boronia, and offers genuine scope to influence and refine financial reporting frameworks across the group. This role will be based 5 days per week in the office. Your Role: Reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with the Global Finance Director, you’ll lead the charge on improving financial processes and driving timely, accurate, and insightful reporting. You’ll play a vital role as a finance partner to stakeholders across operations and commercial teams. Key Responsibilities: Lead monthly financial reporting, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and detailed variance analysis Design and manage financial reporting timetables across daily, weekly, and monthly cycles Enhance and implement month-end and year-end reporting packs aligned with group requirements Ensure accuracy of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and GL integrity Deliver data-driven insights for tax compliance, audit, and statutory reporting Assist in the preparation of insurance renewals and financial budgets Liaise with inventory and logistics teams to ensure accurate inventory valuation and reporting Manage fringe benefits tax submissions and land tax obligations About You: You’re a qualified CA/CPA with solid post-qualification experience, ideally within a manufacturing or inventory-heavy environment. You’re confident navigating ERP systems, juggling multiple priorities, and you bring a strong commercial mindset to your work. You’ll also bring: Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency Strong analytical thinking and a hands-on approach to problem solving Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage across all levels A proactive, team-focused attitude and an eye for continuous improvement Why Join?
