About The Role
This is a Continuous Applicant Pool used to recruit Business Support Officers for our Resources Business Centres. Applications will be assessed as suitable opportunities arise. You may be offered a fixed-term temporary position of up to 12 months, depending on vacancy availability. In this role, you will:
Communicate complex service and referral options to clients using excellent oral communication and active listening skills, including paraphrasing and summarising.
Access and interrogate Department of Resources databases and systems to deliver quality customer service.
Perform financial activities such as receipting (including EFTPOS), reconciling, banking, purchasing, and invoice payments.
Undertake administrative duties, including maintaining registers, managing mail, liaising with contractors and government departments, procuring supplies, managing assets, and fleet management.
Perform other duties as required.
What We're Looking For
A current C-class driver’s license is essential.
Travel may be required, including outside normal hours and overnight stays.
