The award-winning Highway Hotel is on the lookout for a Chef de partie and Commis chef to join the food operations team. This is an opportunity for a career-driven individual who wants to work with a dedicated team in a reputable venue.
The Highway Hotel consists of 2 operational kitchens, creating and executing outstanding meals for the Bistro, Lounge Bar, Sports Bar, as well as a large focus on Functions & Events.
The Roles
Being a part of a busy team environment, the successful applicant requirements include:
Chef de partie
* Hands-on with at least two years' experience in all sections including Grill
* Work alongside others in a fast environment
* Attention to detail
* Team player
* Driven by quality and take pride in your work
Commis Chef
* An all-rounder position with a focus on pizza, fryer and larder sections
* At least one year experience working in a similar role
* A willingness to work alongside others in a fast environment
* Attention to detail / use of initiative
* Team player
Casual and fulltime positions available.
