Weekend work is essential for this role.
What you'll do: Help maintain safe, clean and well-run animal facilities Support daily animal care, including feeding, milking and welfare checks Assist staff and students during examinations and treatments Contribute to general farm operations such as fencing and cattle handling Operate University vehicles including UTVs, tractors and Utes.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, values teamwork, and wants to build a meaningful career in animal and agricultural sciences.

About You Completion of Year 10 Queensland open driver's license (class C) Physically capable of carrying out duties Capacity to work in a team environment.
Capacity to relate well and communicate with a wide range of people including staff, students, clients and outside suppliers.
Understand the value of excellent client service.
Care and compassion for animals.
Desirable A current HR licence Basic computer skills.
Previous experience with cattle.
The successful candidate may be required to complete background checks including, right to work in Australia and mandatory immunisation.
