We provide around-the-clock care, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet client needs.
Responsibilities
* Provide a premium care experience to clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised
* Assist clients with activities of daily living including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transport and companionship
* Deliver care in accordance with the client care plan developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)
* Meet safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
* Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
* Support the Making Lives Better Employee Rewards program
* Work with a supportive and dynamic team
* Participate in ongoing training
Skills & Experience
* Passionate about making a difference
* Self-led with the ability to take responsibility for behaviour and success
* Coachable
* Previous caregiving experience is an asset
* Must be able to speak and write in English; other languages are an asset
* Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Designers when needed
* Reliable means to travel to and from clients' homes
* Drivers with their own vehicle are an asset
Mandatory Requirements
* Enrolled or completed a minimum Cert III in Aged Care, Community, Individual Support or Disability, or extensive industry experience
* National Police Check (Aged Care/Vulnerable Persons Sector)
* Working With Children Check
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion
* NDIS Worker Screener Clearance
