Our Industry and External Engagement Portfolio prioritises forging strong relationships with industry, governments, non-profits, and the community, thereby facilitating collaborations across Queensland and globally.
The role of Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships will involve working closely with other senior managers under the broad direction of the Director Industry and External Engagement (IEE), to achieve outcomes consistent with the objectives of the Office of the Vice President Industry and External Engagement and University Strategic Plan.
* Identify, develop, and manage strategic engagement opportunities that encompass multiple partners or internal stakeholders, focusing on collaboration within the health sector.
* Manage and nurture a set of partnerships between our organisation and various stakeholders, including liaison services, partnership prospectuses, proposal writing, and presentations to enhance existing and potential partnerships aligning with our organisation's strategic goals.
* Engage with Academic Groups to identify, develop, and lead business development initiatives for impact spanning research, education, and training projects and programs.
* Collaborate with Central Portfolios, including Research, Advancement, and Marketing & Communications, to advance activities such as media, marketing, promotion, and external relationships to ensure alignment of partnerships for impact.
* Liaise and consult closely with key external stakeholders to optimise synergies and maximise promotion of our organisation and its unique capabilities.
* Provide expert advice and negotiation services in the development of all relevant partnership agreements and documentation, ensuring mutually beneficial arrangements that meet legislative, organisational, and policy requirements.
