What You’ll Be Doing
Safety, Health & Environment
* Lead pre-starts and toolbox talks, fostering a strong safety-first culture
* Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, SWMS/JSEA, and permit systems
* Identify risks and drive continuous safety improvements
Service Delivery & Operations
* Coordinate maintenance, breakdowns, commissioning, and fault-finding
* Monitor productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction
* Improve workflows and service efficiency
Project Support
* Supervise installation and commissioning works
* Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards
* Collaborate with project teams for successful delivery
Technical Leadership
* Provide hands-on support across LV/HV systems, switchboards, generators, and UPS
* Troubleshoot complex electrical issues
* Act as a senior technical resource for field teams
People Leadership
* Lead, mentor, and support electricians, apprentices, and service staff
* Build team capability through coaching and development
* Contribute to performance and workforce planning
Client Engagement
* Act as a key point of contact for clients
* Deliver professional service and technical advice
* Ensure commitments are met on time and to quality standards
Systems & Reporting
* Maintain accurate service and compliance documentation
* Use CMMS systems (SAP/Pronto/MEX) for planning and reporting
What we're looking for
Essential:
* Unrestricted A-Class Electrical License
* Current CPR & LVR
* White Card & C-Class Driver’s License
* Ability to hold a Section 26 appointment as Electrical Supervisor
Experience & Skills:
* 5+ years’ experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and commissioning, maintenance and repair.
* Experience in mining, utilities, power networks, or similar environments
* Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
* Proven leadership and team supervision capability
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Experience using CMMS systems (SAP/Pronto/MEX or similar)
Desirable:
* HV Switching, EEHA, or Instrumentation qualifications
* Electrical Engineering background
