Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated professional to play a pivotal role in supporting Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) practices across our state-of-the-art facility.
* Support contractor, staff and visitor inductions, ensuring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and basic HSEQ requirements are met.
* Assist with maintaining accurate HSEQ records, registers and reports, escalating issues when required.
* Contribute to the implementation of HSEQ procedures in line with legislation and industry standards.
* Conduct routine site inspections to identify hazards or non-compliances for follow-up by senior staff.
* Support toolbox talks, site safety drills and general HSEQ training activities.
* Collaborate with internal teams to conduct audits aligned to ISO management systems requirements.
* Under supervision, assist with hazardous waste handling and correct segregation in accordance with site procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inductions and Training: Ensure contractors, staff and visitors receive comprehensive inductions and training on site procedures and protocols.
* HSEQ Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, registers and reports to track HSEQ performance.
* Procedure Implementation: Contribute to the development and implementation of HSEQ procedures that align with industry standards and regulations.
* Safety Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and escalate findings to senior staff.
* Training and Development: Deliver training programs and workshops to promote a culture of HSEQ awareness and compliance.
