Job Title: Child Safety Administration Officer
About the Role:
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare court documents, such as affidavits, in consultation with child safety officers and senior team leaders.
* Provide administrative support to child safety officers, including accessing departmental information systems and extracting key information for use in court material.
* Follow guidelines and administrative processes related to records management, finance, and other tasks consistent with departmental policies and objectives.
* Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with departmental legal officers to ensure court documents meet legislative requirements.
* Work effectively as part of a team to support child safety officers in meeting rapidly changing priorities and deadlines.
* Identify and communicate key issues to senior team leaders that may impact task completion.
* Participate in continuous quality improvement strategies.
Mandatory Requirements:
* Possession of or ability to obtain a blue card administered by the Queensland Public Safety Business Agency.
* Current 'C' Class Drivers licence.
