Overview
Data Analytics Experienced Consultant or Senior Consultant opportunity with EY People Advisory Services (PAS) in the Employment Taxes Data Analytics area. The role can be performed from any EY office across Australia, with potential flexible hours depending on options discussed.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Led complex data modelling for wage compliance initiatives, including Industrial Instruments (Enterprise Bargaining Agreements, Industry Awards), superannuation, and Pay-As-You-Go Withholding, as well as preparing Superannuation Guarantee Charge statements and voluntary disclosure submissions.
* Partnered closely with clients, internal stakeholders, and regulatory bodies (including the Australian Taxation Office and Fair Work Australia) to deliver high-quality data analytics projects and support the growth of the global mobility data analytics practice.
* Designed and delivered training and capability-building sessions for both clients and internal teams, translating technical insights into clear, practical guidance.
Skills And Attributes For Success
* Relevant academic foundation in data analytics or commerce, combined with early-career experience in data analytics, with a focus on wage compliance and employment tax remediation.
* Hands-on technical capability across analytics and data tools, including intermediate proficiency in Alteryx, working knowledge of SQL and Python, and experience using data visualization platforms such as Power BI and Tableau.
* Strong commitment to excellence in client service, with the ability to apply analytical insights in a practical, client-focused way.

* Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work both autonomously and as part of a team.
* Attention to detail and the ability to be flexible.
* Confidence handling data and proven data analytic skills.
