As a Café / Food Services Assistant your focus will be to deliver catering needs, special requirements and food preferences.Candidates should be available to work across a variety of shifts from Monday to Sunday for this position.Working as part of a friendly and close-knit team, your focus will be:Serving residents, families and their friendsPrepare, present and serve food and refreshments, ensuring awareness of special needs for dietary requirementsPlate and present food in an appealing manner and to a high-quality visual standard according to individual requirementsRequirementsOutstanding customer service skillsGreat communication, organisation and time management skillsFood Safety Certificate Level I (HLTFSE001) or progression towards the completion of a Food Safety CertificatePrevious experience working in a café, food services environment and/or at an aged care facilityPatience; common sense and a strong ethos of client serviceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work within a team and to work with minimum supervisionWhy VMCH?Because the people we employ make it a great place to work!
