Position Descriptor:
This is a unique opportunity to teach Physical Education in a highly collaborative school, with a positive culture. What makes this position unique is that, due to being a relatively large primary school, we have a second full-time PE teacher who you can co-plan and collaborate with. We generally timetable two classes of the same year level, at the same time for PE so there are opportunities to combine classes and co-teach regularly. Often specialist teaching in primary schools can be quite isolating, so being part of a team is a rare opportunity. We are looking for someone with high level interpersonal skills who can form strong connections with students, staff and families. The PE role also requires strong organisation skills, positive energy, initiative and flexibility. Teachers of all levels of experience are encouraged to apply.
