About the Company
We are partnering with a leading provider of Building Management Systems (BMS) solutions, delivering smart, energy-efficient technologies across commercial, healthcare, and infrastructure projects. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a skilled and driven BMS Estimator / BDM to join their Sydney-based team.
The Role
This is a hybrid position combining technical estimating with business development. You will play a key role in securing new projects, building client relationships, and delivering accurate and competitive BMS proposals.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for BMS projects (new installations and upgrades)
* Review project specifications, drawings, and tender documents
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within NSW
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors
* Collaborate with engineering and project delivery teams to ensure seamless handover
* Attend client meetings, site visits, and industry events
* Contribute to bid strategy and commercial negotiations
About You
* Proven experience in BMS estimating, sales, or project engineering
* Strong knowledge of BMS platforms (e.g., Schneider, Siemens, Honeywell, etc.)
* Commercially astute with excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Self-motivated with a strong track record in winning work
* NSW driver's license
