Job description:

Are you passionate about making a real impact?

TLEA is seeking applications for a full-time Technician E&I to join our Kwinana team. This position operates on an even time 5-5-4 roster, covering both days and nights.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities on site equipment in accordance with SAP processes, maintenance schedules and work instructions, as directed by the Supervisor Electrical & Instrumentation. You will actively support and apply the company's continuous improvement principles to help minimise cost and maximise production performance.

This role is ideally suited to an experienced Technician E&I who embodies our core values of distinction, pragmatism, honesty, tenacity and innovation.

Profile description:

* Demonstrate an overriding commitment to the continual improvement of health, safety, environment and sustainable development across the business.
* Commitment to ensuring a safe working environment for all our people.
* Safely isolate plant and equipment to PTW requirements.
* Ensure compliance to SAP processes for work execution and capture related transactional data into the SAP system.
* Ensure adequate scoping of corrective work to facilitate the planning process.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical and gas regulations and standards.
* Participate in the development and enhancement of task based safe work instructions.
* Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all events and hazards and participate in workplace investigations or observations as required.
* Maintain high levels of housekeeping and general standards for plant, equipment, stores and tools.

What you can bring

* WA Electrical Workers License, Unrestricted. Fitter/Mechanic
* Electrical/Instrument Trade Certificate III or IV
* High Voltage Switching Operation Certificate (Desirable)
* High Risk Work Licence EWP (Desirable)
* Minimum 5 years' experience working in heavy industry or refining processes in a maintenance role.

Location

TLEA proudly acknowledges and the Whadjuk and Gnaala Karla Boodja people of the Noongar Nation, as the traditional custodians of the Kwinana area, where we operate our plant.

Kwinana is 38 km from the Perth central business district, 20 km from City of Fremantle and just 7km from Rockingham.
