Business Development Executive - Mid Market
This role involves prospecting new Corporate Card clients to meet annual targets. As a BDE, you'll be responsible for Commercial Card Sales to local and multinational businesses in the middle market field segment ($10-$100M company turnover).
Impact in this Role:
* Effective pipeline and activity management
* Providing American Express expense management solutions to companies through understanding prospects' businesses, identifying potential opportunities, and introducing our services
* Building strong connections and engaging with new and existing clients predominantly over the phone
* Selling corporate solutions to clients across various industries
* Coordinating with internal teams to deliver on our promise
Requirements and Qualifications:
1. Consultative B2B selling experience with a proven track-record of meeting and exceeding sales goals in a phone sales environment
2. Experience in Acquisition and B2B corporate sales
3. Proven track record of hunting new business, self-generating leads and referrals
4. Demonstrated skill in networking, collaboration, and stakeholder management
5. Excellent oral and written communication, relationship building experience in developing and executing successful sales strategies
6. Commercial acumen, understanding financial statements (preferred)
