About the role
We have position avaialable for a Department of Transport AVE inspector/Light vehicle technician.
We are willing to train the right technician into this position.
This is a full time role but the AVE inspector role could be a flexible part time role

High quality servicing and repairs of all makes of cars, light commercials and 4wd

Skills and experience
* We require an highly experienced, motivated ,and very reliable light vehicle mechanic ,with great communication skills is a team player and can be trusted to work unsupervised with high efficiency
* We are looking for someone to fit our business purpose,ethics and culture. You would be living this culture already in your day to day life.
* 1.Trade qualified ,ideally currently or recently working in the trade as a light vehicle mechanic with a minimum 2 years experience
* Applicants must hold a Certificate IV Automotive qualification to be considered for this role.
* Candidates are required to have 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in light vehicle mechanics.
* 2.Have a good understanding of modern vehicle electronics and engine management
* 3.Strong diagnostic skills and method
* 5.Air Cond License an advantage
* 6.Authorised Vehicle Examiner preferred but not essential(wiilling to train)
* 7.this role requires a current WA police clearance
* 8.Must have Australian work authorisation or valid work visa to be eligible for this position.
