We're not hiring an AI enthusiast. We're hiring someone who builds things — someone who can sit inside a fast-moving commercial finance business and wire AI into the way we actually operate.
TAFS is a Sydney-based commercial asset finance brokerage. We've already gone deep on automation — HubSpot CRM, custom reporting pipelines, Meta ad infrastructure, SMS workflows. Now we want to go further, and we need the right person to lead it.
This is a hands‐on builder role. You'll own the AI and integration layer across our entire business — from Claude and HubSpot to APIs, automations, and whatever comes next.
What You'll Actually Do
* Own and extend our Claude + HubSpot MCP integration — building AI‐powered workflows directly inside our CRM
* Design and build APIs that connect our key systems: HubSpot, Meta Ads, Aircall, Notion, and others
* Automate reporting, lead management, document workflows, and sales operations end‐to‐end
* Identify where AI can replace manual work across the business and actually build the replacement
* Work directly with the Director and GM to prioritise, scope, and ship
* Keep things simple — we care about outcomes, not complexity for its own sake
What We're Looking For Must Have
* Proven experience building AI agents — not just prompting, actually shipping them
* Hands‐on with LLM APIs — Claude or OpenAI in production environments
* Python or Node.js proficiency
* Able to work autonomously and ship without hand‐holding
Strong Advantage
* HubSpot experience — workflows, CRM data, custom properties
* Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol)
* Understanding of sales operations or financial services
* You've built internal AI tools that real teams actually use
