**About Us**:
Working in partnership with the NSW Government, the Parklife Metro consortium is working on an exciting new metro rail infrastructure project in Greater Western Sydney.
Comprising, Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens and Webuild, the private sector partners are looking to build their metro rail expertise to deliver this city-shaping project, which will be delivered under a Public Private Partnership model and will provide a major economic stimulus for Western Sydney.
We are currently looking to appoint an experienced Industrial Relations Manager to work within the Human Resources team reporting to the People Director.

**The Opportunity**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage relationships with unions and union representatives
- Negotiate collective bargaining agreements that are fair and reasonable for both Parklife and the union
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that comply with Fair Work regulations
- Ensure compliance with employment laws
- Investigate and resolve grievances and complaints from employees and union representatives
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with employees, management and union representative
- Provide guidance and training to management and employees on labour related issues
- Stay current with changes in law and regulations and communicate updates to management and employees
- Collaborate with other departments, including HR and Legal to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
**Criteria**:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial relations or related discipline
- 5+ Years experience in Industrial Relations
- In depth knowledge of Fair Work laws and regulations
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders
- Excellent problem solving skills and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
