Job Description
Product Manager Mission:
* Develop and execute regional product roadmaps tailored to each unique market.
* Conduct market research and competitor analysis to understand local dynamics and customer needs.
* Collaborate with utilities and distribution partners to adapt, localize, and enhance smart metering and telecommunications solutions.
* Oversee the lifecycle of existing and new products, ensuring commercial and technical alignment.
* Influence decision-making through building relationships with procurement teams, internal stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
The Ideal Candidate
* Industry Experience: Background in metering, utilities, or related product vendors (e.g., EDMI, Itron, Secure Meters, Genus).
* Commercial Acumen: Strong business instincts, ideally from a private enterprise, able to develop business cases and support pricing/contract strategy.
* Technical Savvy: Experience working with or servicing technical products, especially involving telecoms, electrical, or software-based systems.
* Regulatory Awareness: Comfortable navigating industry regulations, sustainability requirements, and government-driven projects.
* Soft Skills: Tenacious, proactive, entrepreneurial. Skilled at influencing demanding customers and managing change in dynamic environments.
* Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or Computer Science.
* Background in project management, particularly with R&D or technical product delivery, is highly advantageous.
