Job Role: Financial Operations Manager
The role involves overseeing financial operations, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing, and maintaining a healthy cash position.
Main Responsibilities:
* Process payments to vendors in a timely manner, including reconciling monthly statements and preparing EFT transfers.
* Manage accounts receivable, coordinating shipping documentation and processing sales invoices.
* Liaise with clients to resolve payment queries and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Prepare and lodge tax requirements, such as PAYG and Business Activity Statements.
* Monitor the company's cash flow and provide projections to inform financial decisions.
* Reconcile the Balance Sheet and process general ledger entries.
About You:
* A recognized qualification in accounting and bookkeeping or equivalent experience.
* Registration or ability to register as a BAS Agent.
* Proficiency in accounting software, preferably Navision or similar.
* Experience in financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
