Leadership Role in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service
The Safeguards and CAATS Team is a dedicated resource providing innovative care to children and adolescents experiencing acute mental health distress.
This role provides team leadership to the multidisciplinary team within the Northern NSW Local Health District.
* Provide advanced clinical services in line with their discipline within the Safeguard and CAATS team which provides rapid, mobile, intensive and flexible short-term delivery of skilled evidence-based interventions to resolve mental health crisis.
About The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Leading the Safeguards and CAATS Team to ensure the provision of evidence based best practice care to children and adolescents with mental health issues.
* Developing and implementing strategies to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
* Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
Service Delivery
The team delivers community-based care, providing rapid, mobile, intensive and flexible short-term delivery of skilled evidence-based interventions to resolve mental health crisis in the community and acute facilities.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
* Lead the development of service plans to meet the needs of children and adolescents with mental health issues.
* Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to promote and support the work of the Safeguards and CAATS Team.
