**Our Journey**:
The property portfolio oversees all property matters for Monash Health across 150 properties, retail lease agreements, providing broad advisory responsibilities. The portfolio consists of Freehold Land, Crown Land and Leased properties (both as landlord and tenant).
**A Day in the Life**:
This is an opportunity that doesn't come up very often! A new role in the Monash Health Property Portfolio having responsibility for the day-to-day function of the portfolio.
Reporting to and being supported by the Manager Property, you will have responsibility for a variety of tasks including tenant management, monitoring and reporting on KPI's, conducting inspections, establishing and maintaining lease and key registers, conducting tenant meetings, preparing statements of outgoings, drafting routine correspondence and working with the finance team on invoicing and arrears management.
You'll also provide support to site management, facilities managers and community based teams. From time to time the role may have the opportunity to support specific projects such as the fit out of leased premises and supporting the broader Capital and Infrastructure team.
Whilst you will be based at Monash Medical Centre, Clayton, a requirement of the role is to travel to and work at any of the Monash Health sites as needed. As such a valid driver's licence is required. Access to a pool vehicle will be available to use to and from Monash Health sites.
**What You Bring**:
To be successful in this role you will bring prior experience including
- Demonstrated experience in commercial and real estate management and administration.
- Good knowledge of Government property portfolios
- Certificate IV Property/Real Estate or equivalent
- Registration as an Agents Representative (Property Management)
- Valid driver's licence (car)
**On a Personal Level, you**:
- Have previous success building strong stakeholder relationships and working collaboratively at an organisation and stakeholder level
- Detail oriented with good ability to maintain accurate documentation, registers, and records.
- Ability to facilitate tenant relations and work proactively to prevent issues
- Proficient IT skills across a range of programs
- Friendly professional manner
