Job Title: Technical Lead - Water and Sewer Operations
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to join our team in Mudgee, NSW. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in the management and maintenance of our water supply and sewerage systems.
Reporting to our Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading small teams in the operation and maintenance of critical water supply and sewerage services. This includes supervising operations, performing scheduled preventative maintenance, and tracking budget expenditure.
You will also liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders on capital and operational projects, deliver operational and maintenance scheduling, and respond to escalated alarms and abnormal conditions.
The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in managing teams and prioritizing tasks. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have a customer-focused approach.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading small teams in operation and maintenance of critical water supply and sewerage services
* Reporting and briefing teams on key issues
* Supporting and participating in implementing and reviewing Council's Drinking Water Management System, Dam Safety Management System, and Wastewater Quality Management System
* Leadiing and supervising the operations and maintenance of water supply and sewerage systems within legislative requirements and agreed levels of service
