We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Pharmacy Retail Manager / 2IC to support the day-to-day operations of a busy community pharmacy. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong retail leader who enjoys customer service, team leadership, merchandising, and operational excellence in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
Working closely with the Retail Manager and Pharmacist team, you’ll play a key role in driving sales, maintaining high store standards, and leading the front-of-shop team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Retail Manager in overseeing daily store operations
* Lead, coach, and motivate retail team members
* Deliver outstanding customer service and patient care support
* Manage merchandising, stock presentation, and promotional execution
* Assist with rostering, team performance, and onboarding
* Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock control processes
* Ensure compliance with pharmacy retail procedures and standards
* Drive sales targets and identify opportunities for business growth
* Maintain a clean, organised, and professional store environment
* Step into the Retail Manager role when required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous experience in pharmacy retail, health retail, or a similar environment
* Leadership or 2IC/supervisory experience in retail
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent organisational and time management abilities
* A hands-on leadership style with a positive attitude
* Experience with merchandising and inventory management
* Confidence working in a fast-paced customer-focused environment
