Family and Child Connect Leader
The Family and Child Connect program is a valuable service for families in need. As a trauma-informed leader, you will oversee a team of practitioners to provide support to carers dealing with various family and parenting challenges. Your role involves guiding your team to build better relationships between family members, manage children's behavior, prevent domestic violence, assist with budgeting and financial management, address substance abuse issues, and facilitate access to housing, healthcare, and community services.
This full-time position based in Mount Isa requires the successful candidate to lead our Queensland Programs team and report directly to the Regional Manager. The term of this role is until December 2026, with potential for extension.

Requirements
* Demonstrated experience working with children and families, particularly those experiencing domestic violence.
* Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities.
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (Social Work, Community Development, etc.) or significant equivalent experience.
