* New switch room foundations
* Lighting footings and transformer compounds
* Drive station extension to existing footing slab
* Conveyor crossover platform footing
* Bulk earthworks, drainage, windrows
* Trenching for electrical services

We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Manager with proven expertise in large-scale concrete works to join our skilled Project Delivery Team. This FIFO role (ex-Perth) will see you managing projects across the Pilbara, with current works including:
* New switch room foundations
* Lighting footings and transformer compounds
* Drive station extension to existing footing slab
* Conveyor crossover platform footing
* Bulk earthworks, drainage, windrows
* Trenching for electrical services
Projects range from $5m to $50m, primarily on Tier 1 Iron Ore mine sites. This is a Permanent Specified Task role for the duration of the project, with further work in the pipeline.
ABOUT YOU:
Due to operational requirements, applicants must be WA-based (Perth metro & surrounds). Availability to commence ASAP is preferred, ideally with current RTIO inductions.
* Demonstrated leadership in delivering structural concrete works—foundations, slabs, formwork, reinforcement, large-scale pours—within civil or mining infrastructure projects.
* Confidence in liaising with EPCM representatives and managing multiple work fronts.
* A track record of delivering quality outcomes safely, on time, and on budget.
DUTIES
Reporting to the Construction Divisional Manager, you will:
* Manage the daily operations of the site construction team.
* Liaise with Project Engineers, obtain technical advice, and share with relevant personnel to overcome challenges.
* Monitor progress and report to ensure schedules are met and works progress continuously.
* Lead HR-related objectives, including recruitment, training, mentoring, and performance management.
* Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
* Oversee Health & Safety compliance, including regular safety meetings.
REQUIREMENTS
* Trade qualification in Construction/Carpentry, Diploma in Project Management, or relevant degree (advantage).
* Minimum 10 years' building and civil construction experience on mine sites, with solid understanding of earthworks and concrete construction.
* Statutory Supervisor Schedule 26 and White Card.
* Strong communication, reporting, and Microsoft Suite (Excel & Project) skills.
* RTIO inductions (advantage).
