What will you do?Some of your main tasks and responsibilities will be;
* Maintain a high standard of claims assessment through accurate, efficient and timely processing of medical claims.
* Provide advice and assistance to health service providers in relation to benefits and conditions of the fund.
* Contribute to the effective operations of the Health Insurance Business Unit
* Accurate assessment of simplified billing claims through the verification process and ECLIPSE system
* Compliance with relevant legislation, including the Federal and State Acts
* Correspond with providers via e-mail, telephone or hard copy mail
What do you need? /What are we looking for?
* Previous claims experience is highly desirable but not essential
* Experience in PHI is highly desirable but not essential
* Experience working in the medical industrious would be advantageous
* Ability to maintain concentration and attention to detail while managing repetitive or high-volume workloads
* Previous HAMBS experience would be highly regarded
* Data entry experience would be highly regarded
* A positive can do attitude is a MUST
* We require you to be either a Permanent Resident or an Australian Citizen
The salary package for this role is $89,544
