Robert Half Executive Search has been exclusively retained to appoint Head of Professional Services - Software Delivery, to lead the ANZ Professional Services function for a global, market-leading SaaS organisation. Delivering mission‐critical software enterprise solutions, the organisation partners with leading global enterprises to drive sustainable digital transformation at scale.
The Role
Reporting into APAC leadership, this newly created role is accountable for delivery excellence, commercial performance, and client outcomes. This is a strategically significant leadership role, overseeing the delivery of complex, large‐scale enterprise software programmes. You will lead multiple high‐value engagements concurrently, working closely with systems integration partners and offshore teams to ensure on‐time, on‐budget delivery and consistently strong customer outcomes. With a clear mandate to optimise performance, enhance delivery capability, and scale the function, this role offers a genuine opportunity to drive operational efficiency and shape the evolution of the Professional Services organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
* Provide strategic leadership of the ANZ Professional Services function, driving a high‐performance, customer‐centric culture
* Define and execute a scalable delivery strategy, integrating local and offshore delivery models and systems integration partners
* Align regional delivery capability with global standards and growth objectives
Delivery Excellence
* Ensure consistent delivery of complex enterprise programmes through robust governance, frameworks, and quality standards
* Drive continuous improvement in delivery methodologies, tooling, and client outcomes
* Own full P&L accountability across the portfolio, including revenue growth, margin performance, and forecast accuracy
* Embed financial discipline, optimising utilisation, cost structures, and delivery economics
Executive Stakeholder Engagement
* Build and maintain trusted relationships at C‐suite level across clients and partners
* Collaborate closely with sales, product, and global delivery teams to align commercial and delivery outcomes
Your Profile
You are a commercially astute, enterprise‐scale delivery leader with a track record of building and leading high‐performing Professional Services teams.
Essential experience includes:
* 10+ years leadership experience in Professional Services delivery within enterprise software environments, SaaS, cloud, or digital platforms
* Proven experience building/scaling software delivery teams, including offshore delivery models
* Demonstrated success leading the delivery of complex, multi‐million‐dollar enterprise transformation programmes, partnering closely with systems integrators, when required, to deliver on time and on budget
* Strong commercial acumen with ownership of P&L (>$10M), including forecasting, margin optimisation, and financial management
* Experience driving delivery excellence, governance, and continuous improvement frameworks
* Strong knowledge of the ANZ market and proven success driving growth in the region
* Ability to operate strategically while remaining close to execution when required
* Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing capability at executive level
* Established leadership credentials, with a focus on talent development and building high‐performing teams
