About the Role Our client is experiencing strong national growth within their Data Centre sector, driven by major new engagements with global technology organisations. As a result, an exciting opportunity has opened for a Senior QS or Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their Brisbane-based team. With a robust pipeline of large-scale, high-profile projects underway, this role is ideally suited to an experienced Associate or Senior Quantity Surveyor with a background in data centres or similarly complex, mission-critical environments. Candidates who bring a strong cost engineering mindset - particularly those with electrical or mechanical expertise - will be highly regarded. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will deliver a full range of quantity surveying and cost management services, including: Leading complex cost engineering on mission-critical projects Managing estimating, planning, cost control, and financial reporting Liaising with clients, architects, and head contractors Preparing masterplans and feasibility costings Conducting cost checks throughout design development Driving value engineering initiatives Managing tender evaluations and contract negotiations Overseeing procurement processes Monitoring project cash flow and cost reporting Preparing final accounts and managing claims (preparation, negotiation, and settlement) Supporting investment analysis and decision-making Developing and implementing benchmarking processes to improve cost model accuracy and efficiency Identifying and contributing to new business opportunities About You To succeed in this role, you will bring: A relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil) Extensive experience using cost estimating and planning tools (e.g. CostX) Strong experience in MEP and heavy services projects Proven track record delivering and managing major projects Experience working on mission-critical or highly complex developments Strong commercial acumen and a proactive approach to delivering value Why Apply?
