The Principal Pursuits Partner - Buildings + Places is responsible for maintaining efficient and high calibre support for pursuit and business development activities across the B+P business line and the wider NAC business more generally. Reporting to the Strategic Pursuits Manager - NAC, they will support the B+P team by helping technical teams understand and execute their capture planning responsibilities; developing and presenting B+P Pipeline Forecast reports; and supporting priority bids as identified by the Group Director and B+P leadership team.
+ Work with B+P Leadership to identify the most important pursuits, and work with the Marketing Advisor to lead the capture planning for them
+ Produce B+P Pipeline reports to present and test at monthly B+P meetings
+ Prepare and produce high level bid submissions for strategic opportunities; as directed by the B+P Group Director and leadership team, and in accordance with AECOM brand guidelines, the ANZ proposal template and all client requirements
+ Additionally work with the Strategic Pursuit Manager (SPM) to identify other related pursuit and bidding tasks
+ Participate in Go/No Go meetings for future opportunities - acting as the 'client voice' to test assumptions and support effective decision making
+ Coordinate inputs for technical components
+ Write non-technical components
+ Review and edit proposals for compliance and client focus
+ Develop and edit graphics in PPT
+ Submit bids to clients
+ Drive the B+P bid debrief and lessons learned process to facilitate ongoing improvement
+ File non-commercial content, corporate information, project sheets and CVs in libraries post-submission
+ Support the SPM in delivering targeted training to support the B+P team to 'self-manage' bids - covering how to structure a response, how to answer a question, where to find information, how to use tools & templates etc
+ In conjunction with the marketing team, develop marketing collateral (skill sheets, project data sheets and CVs etc) in line with corporate guidelines.
+ Understand B+P's key clients and their respective strategic objectives, internal structure and key stakeholders
+ Be proactive in meeting clients' expectations and requirements
+ Liaise with key stakeholders for information required.

- Possesses thorough job knowledge and is competent in all aspects of the job.
- Performs advanced assignments requiring independent decisions and resolves problems using an exceptional degree of ingenuity.
- Under limited supervision or general direction, completed work is reviewed for desired results.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Degree qualified in Marketing or similar
+ 5+ years experience in a pursuits role
+ Previous exposure to a professional services environment
