About the Role
You'll be looking after your own client portfolio and working alongside a close-knit team who care about doing things properly.
Your day-to-day will include:
* End-to-end bookkeeping for a range of small business clients
* BAS and IAS preparation (and lodgement if you are a BAS Agent)
* Bank reconciliations and general account reviews
* Payroll, STP, super, and payroll compliance
* Communicating with clients in a friendly, professional way
* Being part of a team that helps each other out
About You
You're confident, capable, and happy working independently from home.
You'll ideally have:
* Several years experience as a bookkeeper or BAS agent
* BAS Agent registration (preferred but not essential for the right senior bookkeeper)
* Solid knowledge of GST, PAYG, payroll, and compliance
* Experience with cloud accounting software such as Xero/Quickbooks
* Great attention to detail and communication skills
* A proactive, reliable approach to your work
* Experience with Employment Hero also desirable, but not essential
Salary & Benefits
* Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 + super (full-time equivalent, pro rata for part-time) depending on experience
