We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the State Schools Nursing Service, supporting State School students with health needs.
This role involves developing health support plans, providing clinical advice and training to school staff, and working collaboratively with families and school communities to promote safe and inclusive education.
The nurse will have the opportunity to choose their base location and will be expected to work across all old EQ schools in the Warwick District.
This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.60FTE), 45.6 hours per fortnight.
About the Role
As the Clinical Nurse, you will deliver a high-quality nursing service that is responsive to the needs of students and schools. You will provide nursing support that builds the capability of school staff to safely assist students with health needs, enabling these students to access and participate in all aspects of schooling on the same basis as their peers without health support needs.

This position is classified as a Clinical Nurse in the State Schools Nursing Service, NU6, and reports directly to the Clinical Nurse Consultant, providing valuable experience and support within a dynamic team.

Your Responsibilities
As the Clinical Nurse, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Assess and support students with health needs in educational environments.

* Collaborate with families, school teams, and external health professionals.
* Promote safe and inclusive practices for students with complex health needs.
