Experience as a Diesel mechanic advantageous Experience on cars, 4WDs (SUVs), light & medium commercial vehicles of European, Japanese and Korean manufacturers Experience in a medium to large workshop in the automotive industry Friendly, attention to detail, dependable, thoroughness, effective verbal communication, motivated, team player, organised, self motivated, work autonomously Skills and experience Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, faulty parts Complete vehicle test drive after works completed Comply with manufacturers, federal and state vehicle requirements Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions Participate in educational opportunities Perform general tasks such as cleaning and maintaining of facilities and equipment Comply with all OHS and other workplace safety Benefits Work Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm with 1 hour for breaks Competitive hourly rate of $40–$45 OEM training to boost your skills and advance your career Supportive team culture with reward and recognition programs Monthly pizza days for a fun, social workplace Optional overtime available for extra earnings Gain a clear understanding of workplace processes and systems How to Apply If you are interested in joining a successful business for this fantastic full-time position, please send us your resume today.
