About the Role
As a Business Banker at IMB, you’ll:
* Build strong, long-term relationships with local businesses
* Originate and structure lending solutions across commercial, residential, asset finance, and everyday banking (up to $10M per transaction)
* Leverage your existing network and referral sources to grow your portfolio
* Be an active ambassador in the business community, representing a highly respected mutual bank
* Work closely with direct and broker introduced customers to provide holistic financial solutions
Who We’re Looking For
* Experienced Banker – At least 10 years of commercial lending experience with solid credit writing skills
* Natural Networker – A strong personal and professional network in the Newcastle business community
* Self-Starter & Problem Solver – Someone who thrives in an autonomous role with the drive to build a portfolio from a low base
* Passionate About Helping Businesses – Not just chasing big deals but making a real difference to business owners
