About the Role
Sulzer is seeking a seasoned Sales Engineer to drive customer engagement and lead strategic sales activities in Australia. As part of our FE_Energy team, you will foster strong relationships with customers, execute complex tenders, and manage contract negotiations.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Drive customer engagement across Australia & Oceania, fostering strong relationships through direct and digital interactions.
3. Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and high-growth sectors.
4. Maintain performance reporting, contribute to continuous improvement, and meet or exceed sales targets.
5. Collaborate across global and local teams to drive innovation, share insights, and enhance customer-centric solutions.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Degree in Engineering, Science, or Business (or equivalent experience).
* Industry-related experience, including complex tenders and contract negotiation.
* Background in quality assurance/management and knowledge of quality standards systems.
* Trusted relationship and stakeholder management, customer-oriented mindset.
* Business acumen and understanding of industry trends.
* Clear communication, strong negotiation, and persuasive skills.
* Ability to travel regularly for customer visits.
