Are you an experienced operations leader with a passion for transport, safety, and team development? We are seeking a hands-on operations leader to lead a team and oversee the efficient, compliant, and customer-focused delivery of transport operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Schedule and manage daily fleet operations, ensuring compliance with fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility legislation.
* Report on DIFOT and operational performance to the Operations Manager.
* Maintain safety and regulatory compliance through routine audits, reporting, and corrective actions.
* Lead and support a team of drivers, administrators, leading hands, and subcontractors.
* Manage payroll, attendance, and team training needs.
* Monitor and utilise operational systems to drive performance and productivity.
What You'll Bring:
* Strong knowledge of road transport regulations, including Standard Hours and BFM.
* Experience in fleet scheduling, compliance auditing, and safety reporting.
* Competence in Microsoft Office Suite and a methodical approach to administrative tasks.
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a can-do attitude.
* High attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
