Gun Web Systems (GWS), a leading Australian provider of web-based and business software solutions for the promotional industry, is seeking a skilled ICT Support Technician – Web Administrator to join our team. As the exclusive distributor of Xetex (Xebra products) in Australia and New Zealand, we serve over 250 clients across the region with a suite of eight integrated solutions.
In this dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for supporting and maintaining IT systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and providing responsive technical assistance to users. You will also play a key role in the development, design, and administration of websites, as well as network setup and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for computer systems, networks, and web technologies
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
Recommend and implement IT solutions tailored to user needs
Configure, install, and update software applications
Design, develop, and maintain websites
Maintain peripherals (printers, terminals, etc.) and troubleshoot related issues
Ensure optimal performance and usability of IT infrastructure
Contribute to a collaborative support environment, potentially including call centre operations
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Associate Degree in Information Technology or a related field
At least 1 year of relevant full-time experience (or 2 years part-time)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and web technologies
Hands-on experience in software setup, troubleshooting, and user support
Website development and maintenance proficiency
Ability to adapt software for unique business requirements
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
