Senior Estimator – Commercial Fitout & Refurbishment Join a respected Tier 1 contractor delivering high-quality commercial, education, hospitality, hotels, government, and defence projects across NSW. We’re seeking a Senior Estimator who can hit the ground running, work both independently and collaboratively, and deliver results. This role suits a proactive go-getter with strong relationship-building skills; with colleagues, subcontractors, and potential clients. Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of the end-to-end estimating process for major commercial, fitout, and refurbishment projects Lead preparation and review of detailed BOQs, variations, and cost plans, ensuring accuracy and completeness Analyse and summarise scope of works and tender documents to inform strategy and pricing decisions Collaborate with project delivery teams to develop robust, competitive proposals Provide senior-level assessment of tenders for shortlist reviews, highlighting risks and opportunities Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to secure competitive pricing and delivery outcomes Mentor and support junior estimators, providing guidance and best-practice estimating processes Skills & Experience: 5 years’ experience in estimating, ideally in Fit-Out, Refurbishment, or large-scale commercial projects Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar Advanced in CostX, Cubit, or equivalent estimating software Highly autonomous, proactive, and able to take ownership of projects Strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and outstanding communication and relationship-building skills Apply: Send your CV to lucia.ward@acrworld.com or call 0435 413 825 for a confidential discussion.
