Teaching Position in Secondary Mathematics
This is an opportunity for a dedicated and passionate educator to join our school community as a Secondary Mathematics Teacher.
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students from Year 7 to 10, catering to a range of ability levels. They will ideally possess a sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
As a member of our school team, the successful applicant will contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve student outcomes. Key responsibilities:
* Deliver mathematics lessons to students from Year 7 to 10, including options classes and possibly some Primary classes.
* Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to a range of learning needs, promoting engagement and motivation among students.
* Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly, utilizing data to inform instruction.
* Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and the wider community, fostering positive relationships and supporting student well-being.
* Participate in ongoing professional development activities, staying up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in education.
