An opportunity exists for atalented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Manager to join the BroomeHospital's Paediatric and Special Care Nursery unit at BroomeHospital.

To be successful, you will have...

* Eligible for registration in the category ofMidwife/Registered Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board ofAustralia.
* Demonstrated ability to provide nursing leadership andadvanced clinical skills in an environment of change andevolution of service delivery.
* Demonstrated experience in the coordination of human,physical and financial resources for the delivery ofcost-effective quality nursing care
* Demonstrated understanding of continuous qualityimprovement programs and clinical risk management.
* Demonstrated evidence of effective communication, conflictresolution and negotiation skills.
* Current knowledge of legislative and regulatoryrequirements in the areas of Equal Opportunity, DisabilityServices and Occupational Safety & Health, and how these impacton employment, people management and service delivery.

Position Profile:

To provide professional nursing leadership and clinicalmanagement across the Paediatrics Unit and Special Care Nursery atBroome Regional Health Campus, ensuring the delivery ofbest‐practice, high‐quality, and cost‐effective patient care withina rural and remote regional resource facility.

Area Profile

WACHS Kimberley is the most northern health region of WACHS. TheKimberley region has approximately 200 Aboriginal communities, over34 different Aboriginal language groups and 45 percent of thepopulation are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.WACHS Kimberley consists of six hospitals, an inpatient mentalhealth unit, three Community Directorates and a Corporate Office.WACHS Kimberley provides hospital, community health, public health,remote area health, community aged care, and mental health servicesacross the region through a dedicated team of medical, nursing,Aboriginal health, allied health, and support staff.
