Electrical and Instrumentation Planner Job Description

The Electrical and Instrumentation Planner will be responsible for planning and scheduling electrical and instrumentation maintenance tasks across a high-volume process plant. This is an office-based role working Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, for a 40-hour week.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and schedule electrical and instrumentation maintenance tasks in accordance with plant operations and maintenance schedules
* Use SAP S4 Cloud-based maintenance systems to manage work orders and task lists
* Coordinate labour, materials, and documentation for job execution to ensure seamless delivery of projects
* Support shutdown and routine maintenance workflows by coordinating with supervisors, engineers, and technicians
* Contribute to continuous improvement in planning efficiency and asset reliability through data-driven insights and analysis

Requirements:

* Proven experience in E&I maintenance planning, preferably in a process plant setting, with a strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation principles and practices
* Proficient with SAP S4 Cloud-based maintenance systems and able to leverage their capabilities to optimize maintenance operations
* Strong technical knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, including design, installation, testing, and maintenance
* Excellent coordination, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals and objectives
