Job Description:
The role of a Digital Content Developer is to convert technical, process-driven documents into web content and other interactive digital solutions. The key focus is on producing high-quality digital content that aligns with established development processes from specification documents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and develop content in SharePoint to support Commission staff interactions.
* Assist in the publication of digital content by creating, editing, reviewing, and archiving.
* Curate Commission documentation and the team's digital asset library.
* Develop site maps and templates for SharePoint sites.
* Document team processes and contribute to cross-functional workflows.
* Manage tasks independently with minimal instruction and respond to Service Desk requests.
* Ensure timely completion of tasks and resolve conflicts between competing work goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical information to produce engaging digital content.
* Estimate time to complete technical requirements and report effectively.
* Effective communication skills, including building productive relationships with internal stakeholders and presenting complex ideas.
* Strong technical skills in SharePoint, Visio, and DevOps or demonstrated aptitude in learning new technologies.
* Ability to analyse digital content for quality and accuracy.
