Communications and Media Leader
About This Opportunity:
The Communications and Media Lead is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for driving strategic communications initiatives to elevate the narrative around early childhood reform. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with executive leadership and stakeholders to develop and implement effective communication strategies that support change and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and evaluate strategic communications plans that align with organizational goals.
* Lead the Media and Communications team to achieve clear objectives and motivate others towards achieving strategic goals.
* Implement project management principles to administer projects and achieve successful outcomes.
* Cultivate productive relationships with various stakeholders, negotiate, persuade, and engage with people at different levels.
* Work autonomously with limited direction, apply initiative to meet tight deadlines, and make informed decisions as necessary.
Requirements:
* Exceptional communication skills with extensive experience in developing and evaluating strategic communications strategies.
* Demonstrated leadership and vision to lead teams and projects effectively.
* Proven experience in project management, risk management, and outcome monitoring.
* Ability to consult, liaise, and negotiate with various stakeholders.
* Desirable tertiary qualification in communications or equivalent experience.

What We Offer:
A competitive remuneration package including ASO8 - $121,107 - $125,679 (1.0 FTE) per annum, plus superannuation of 12%. A two-year full-time term contract role with potential to be made ongoing.
