About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and reliable Facilities – Grounds Person to join our Facilities team on a full time, permanent basis.

Reporting to the Director of Facilities, this role plays a key part in ensuring the College's grounds, gardens, indoor and outdoor spaces are maintained to a high standard and presented in a safe, clean and welcoming condition. The position involves daily collaboration with Facilities' team members and contributes to the smooth operation of College activities and events.

The role typically works 7.00am – 4.00pm, Monday to Friday, with access to rostered days off, 4 weeks annual leave per year, and College granted shut down leave during the College closure period between Christmas and New Year.

To be successful in this opportunity you will require:

* A current Victorian Drivers Licence
* Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, gardening, facilities or similar work (preferred)
* Strong understanding of workplace health and safety (OHS) requirements
* Well developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team
* Strong time management and the ability to prioritise daily tasks
* A commitment to professionalism, accountability and initiative
* A current Victorian Working with Children Check
