- Maintaining accurate records of accounts receivable and ensuring timely collection of payments
- Communicating with customers regarding their accounts and resolving any disputes or issues that may arise
- Reconciling accounts and preparing regular reports on outstanding balances
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and management reports
- Processing customer payments and ensuring that they are recorded correctly
- Working with the sales team to ensure that invoices are generated accurately and in a timely manner
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
**The Successful Applicant**:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Officer or similar role
- Robust understanding of accounts receivable processes and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
