The role

Ammega Group (also known as Rydell Beltech) is a global market leader in the design, manufacturing, fabrication and servicing of high-quality, high-performance process conveyor belts. Ammega "Makes Business Move" in over 150 countries around the world.

We are seeking a technically minded solutions focused External Sales Representative to join our dynamic team at our Dandenong South manufacturing facility. With Sales and Operations under the same roof we are in the best position to be able to meet our customers' needs.

Experience in belting would be beneficial. However, if you have worked in technical sales, as a mechanical technician or maintenance engineer, we would love to hear from you. Our only "must have" is that you have gained your experience in an "industrial business" either in manufacturing, servicing, repairs or maintenance of industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Generating leads.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Negotiating all sales transactions with prospective and current customers base.
  • Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions and negotiations.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports - Salesforce.
  • Preparing quotes and answering customer queries.
  • Understanding and promoting company programs.
  • Obtaining deposits or full payments for cash sale transactions.
  • Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
  • Visiting customers and potential customers.
  • Assess local and regional business opportunities.
  • Actively maintain industry and market competitor knowledge.
  • Network via key associations and events.
