**The Company**
This is an ASX listed Owner-Operator with a small but growing team. They have immediate vacancies for experienced process plant operators to ensure the safe, smooth and effective running of their new processing plant located in the Pilbara. This is an exciting stage in their project and these positions are full time on a 15:13 roster.
**The Role**
The Process Plant Operator will work closely with the Senior/Lead Fixed Plant Operator and the production team while minimising downtime and maximizing production.
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Process Plant Operators to join a great team.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Complete inspections on all operating equipment.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in the plant and surrounding areas.
- Regular flushing of apparatus and machines.
- Perform minor mechanical and process maintenance on metallurgical process equipment.
- Capture and update plant process data both performance and downtime related.
- Make equipment safe to work through execution of equipment isolation and permit to work processes.
- Sample collection and in-field analysis.
**About You**
**Key Requirements**
- A minimum of 2 years' fixed plant operating experience in chemical processing, metallurgical or fertiliser production plants.
- Current WA "C" class driver's license (manual transmission).
- Laboratory experience
- Control room experience is desirable.
- Experience leading and motivating small teams is desirable.
- Experience with crystallizers, centrifuges and compaction plant would be advantageous.
