The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Trainer to join our Career Transition Assistance (CTA) program as a Facilitator. In this role, you will assist participants who are 45+ years old in returning to work and guiding them through the process of acquiring new career and skills.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Consult and assess applicants to determine their suitability for the program.
* Deliver the CTA program in a group training environment.
* Develop skills of participants and assist them in obtaining sustainable and ongoing employment.
* Build relationships with other jobactive providers and promote the benefits of the program to engage potential participants.
* Develop key relationships internally and externally, such as Government departments, local industry bodies, and employers.
* Facilitate the CTA program in accordance with accreditation standards and contractual obligations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A strong knowledge of the local labour market and ideally the Employment Services industry.
* Ability to build and maintain relevant stakeholder relationships, such as local industry bodies and employers.
* Experience in career development or career counselling would be advantageous.
* Experience in organising, planning, implementing, and facilitating training programs.
* A proven track record in achieving results, KPI's, and delivering exceptional customer service.
* Ability to influence, negotiate, and manage time effectively.
* A valid Driver's license and ability to travel from time to time as needed.
