As a key member of our Finance Team, you'll play a hands-on role in driving the commercial performance and future investments that power one of Australia's most successful KFC franchisees.
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Commercial Finance Manager will take the lead on capital investment strategy, budgeting, and forecasting across our development pipeline, restaurant network, and restaurant portfolio.
You'll act as a trusted commercial partner to the Executive, Development, and Operations teams helping shape investment decisions, optimise margins, and deliver real impact through clear insights and sound analysis.
Key responsibilities include:
* Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecast process from end-to-end.
* Lead the Capex investment process across new builds, refurbishments, and reinvestments.
* Partner with cross-functional teams to maximise ROI and support long-term growth.
* Drive forecasting and performance reporting across the restaurant network including variance analysis.
* Provide commercial leadership, ensuring capital efficiency and delivery of net/gross build targets.
* Analyse financial performance trends and develop insights that guide decision-making.
* Support future acquisition opportunities and broader business investments.
* Partner with banking stakeholders to ensure funding requirements align with our growth plan.
* Maintain group debt funding models/forecasts and monitoring of covenants
* Maintain short-medium term cash flow forecasts across multiple entities
* Champion high-quality reporting and analysis across all levels of the organisation.
About You:
You're a commercially-minded finance professional who thrives on making an impact in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. You're not just reporting the numbers—you're helping shape the story behind them.
You'll bring:
* Degree qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce (CA/CPA/MBA highly regarded).
* 5+ years' experience in financial planning, analysis, and commercial strategy.
* Strong analytical, modelling, and forecasting skills.
* Strong proficiency with MS Excel.
* Experience partnering with cross-functional teams in a multi-site or retail environment.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leaders.
* A proactive, curious mindset and the confidence to challenge, influence, and lead.
