Position Overview
Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Full‐Time Permanent)
Reporting to the department supervisor, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of nuclear medicine—including radiopharmaceutical preparation and quality control procedures—to the highest standard and working as part of a dynamic team. The role also requires flexibility to work across extended hours to meet demand, with on‐call and weekends as required. Hours run from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform all aspects of nuclear medicine, including radio‐pharmaceutical preparation and quality control procedures to the highest standard.
* Consistently deliver high levels of patient care and service.
* Develop and maintain strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers.
* Promote and maintain the highest quality and safety standards.
Selection Criteria
* Demonstrated ability to perform high‐quality nuclear medicine examinations independently.
* Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff.
* Tertiary qualification in nuclear medicine.
* Applicants must be AHPRA registered.
* Diagnostic CT accreditation.
